A clutch is a component of the drive train that engages and disengages the power transmission from the driving shaft to driven shaft. The clutch is located between the gearbox and the engine. During a gear change, disengaging is required and the clutch facilitates this disengagement. Clutches need periodic servicing and replacing. When it comes to clutch repairs and replacements, you can count on Quality Auto & Diesel Repair, Inc. in Key West, FL 33040. We have engine experts who will ensure that all your truck or fleet clutch issues are addressed.
The differential is another component of your truck's drive train. The differential lets your truck make turns with ease (remember, the different wheels of your truck travel varying distances when turning). The differential should be serviced regularly. Your fleet of trucks requires periodic differential repairs and replacement. At Quality Auto & Diesel Repair, Inc., we offer differential repair, rebuild, or maintenance services for trucks.
A driveline is made up of all the parts of the powertrain (the main components that generate power and drive your truck), but excluding the transmission and engine. The driveline, which is located after the transmission, changes depending on whether the vehicle is rear-wheel, front-wheel, or four-wheel drive.
With time, moisture, pressure, heat and load cause gear oil to breakdown leading to lubrication failure and worn out gears. This will result in noisy engines and poor truck performance. To solve driveline problems, you need to have worn-out lubricant and engine parts replaced. To have this done by experts, call 305-849-2018 or visit Quality Auto & Diesel Repair, Inc. today. We will ensure that you experience smoother gear shifting.
A truck's transmission adapts the output mechanical power from the engine to drive the wheels. The main purpose is to reduce the number of revolutions made by the crankshaft by use of interlocking gears. The common types of transmissions include manual transmission, automatic transmission, semi-automatic transmission, direct shift gearbox (DSG), TipTronic gearbox, and continuous variable transmission (CVT).
With time, a truck's transmission wears out and starts developing problems. Transmission problems are known to cause mechanical breakdowns. When this happens, you need to have the transmission repaired, rebuilt, or replaced. For everything from transmission rebuilding to transmission repair and transmission replacement, trust Quality Auto & Diesel Repair, Inc.. Call us or visit us today.
These guys are awesome. Sent my 2013 pathfinder to them to replace the alternator( first time i have ever had someone else work on my vehicles) and they did it cheaper than anywhere around. They do high quality work and have high quality employees. They are very helpful and able to find parts quickly that are hard to get. This car rides my family of 5 to north florida and back and glad I know they will be safe. Thanks guys for taking care of it while I was underway.
We had to replace a tire due to a nail. Luanne was very helpful in getting us the exact tire we needed delivered in a day. After trying to get the tire from another shop and them ordering the wrong tire, and being rude to us, this was a nice change of pace. The guys were able to put the tire on right away. Great place to do business and we'll be back is we need any tire or auto repairs.
Good and friendly service, quick turnover. We are traveling (so out of our home territory) and our Ford F350 Diesel needed an oil and filter change. I called and was told to come on in. Jaime was knowledgable and gave me a good overview of what my diesel needed and why. We are very pleased. (There are also some places near to shop at or eat if you need to wait and kill some time).
